The Rio Roses are grown in the Andean mountain range of Ecuador and Colombia. The pristine fertile soil in the highlands of this subtropical region is enriched with volcanic ash, which acts as a purifier. With stable climates at higher elevations provide consistent, year-round availability.

Every rose has to meet stringent quality standards. Those that don’t make the grade, don’t earn the name Rio Roses. Each day, native people are caring for the soil preparation, planting, growing, harvesting, grading, and packaging processes. They follow a demanding set of quality standards for every process.

Rio Roses care to preserve the environment. All farming processes are in accordance with guidelines set by The Rainforest Alliance. We use no unapproved chemicals and recycle all plant waste into compost and fertilizer.
